1st Pregnancy
I was
so exciting to see 2 lines on the pregnancy test. TO make sure, I do another test and the
results are the same.
It is
quite exactly as our plan. When we decide to have a family and to a new member
add to our family. Our baby is the most favorite for every couple. We have been
married for a year and my transplanted kidney is working excellent. My Creatinine is in the
good range. My condition is stable.
I have
consulted with my renal consultant and I receive the green light to go for it.
However, I have not known any transplant woman in our hospital have a baby after kidney transplant at all. I asked my renal consultants, but have not got any answers. It
may be they want privacy or nobody wants to talk about it. As we all know only
one kidney to save our life in order for us to live normally still hard, don’t
you dare to think about support another person’s life.
I try
to search the internet, read some research about pregnancy in kidney transplant.
However, I cannot find anything really relate to the topic, I am looking for.
It may be because a number of women have a transplant is less or a number of women who at the age of
productive is less or transplant woman who at the age of able to produce and be
healthy enough to try for a baby is less or whatever. As we always know that
most of kidney end stage failure before transplant, some develop from diabetic before progressing to kidney failure. Also,
it can go in another direction of having a kidney disease first and progress to others.
